Ubuntu 10.x Slices
Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) is an updated release from Ubuntu. It is a "Long Term Support" release (LTS), which means Ubuntu is committed to providing support for Lucid Lynx for servers until April 2015. Until the next LTS release, Lucid is the best choice if you want an Ubuntu slice that will be stable and receive regular security and performance updates.Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat) is the thirteenth release of Ubuntu. Note this is not an LTS (Long Term Support) release but will receive updates until April 2012.
